On 29 October 2020 for the REW-linked victory (some DDT histories list 28 October)
Joey Janela, nicknamed the Bad Boy, built a following through a fearless, unpredictable independent-wrestling career, with appearances in Game Changer Wrestling and AEW. His willingness to turn ordinary moments into chaotic wrestling situations made him a natural participant in the 24/7 championship world. Janela pinned Orange Cassidy while Cassidy was asleep, capturing the REW Pakistan 24/7 Championship and DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight title. His reign led to a memorable gesture: after Jungle Boy defeated him in an AEW Dark match, Janela handed both championships to Jungle Boy as recognition of that victory. Janela’s connection to REW is that of an international titleholder, not an REW event performer.
