The Kovu Brandon emerged from Ring of Slam as one of Pakistan’s central wrestling figures, but his REW career became an even longer story of ambition, uneasy alliances and championship dominance. At Burnout in March 2021, he lost the Asian Championship to XMAK in a No Disqualification contest, retained the ROS World Heavyweight Championship against Ahmed Boyka and Hawkberg with DEX assistance, and then lost that world title to The Noom. These reversals pushed him into new rivalries rather than ending his championship ambitions.
In 2022 he defeated Noorzai at Wrestlemax and again in a hardcore rematch at Ruthless Aggression, where he also beat Ahmed Boyka in a Falls Count Anywhere match. At The Huge Pakistan Clash he betrayed former ally Jordan Hurr, won Jordan’s Eastern Championship and defended it against Nawab and Noorzai, although Jordan retained the REW World title in their flag match. Their rivalry continued at Summer Smash, where Brandon served as special guest referee for Jordan’s match against Jahanzaib Raan Jatt and attacked JRJ after the contest.
At House of Horror in November 2022, Brandon outlasted a world-title gauntlet and finally eliminated The Noom to begin his long REW World Heavyweight Championship reign. He defended the title in an eight-man elimination contest at Survivor War, where his bitter rivalry with CEO XMAK escalated into an attack that ended with XMAK shaving his head. The same night Brandon voluntarily lay down for his brother Xekay in their Eastern Championship match, illustrating how family and faction loyalty could override competition.
His reign continued through Jordan Hurr’s return at King of the Ring 2023, a wild hardcore encounter that spilled into an ambulance, and a Falls Count Anywhere defense against Sher Khan at Wrestlemax that ended on top of a bus. Brandon remained central to DEX alongside Moosa Hassan Kamani as the faction accumulated titles. He retained against Hawkberg at Ruthless Aggression in September 2023, survived a six-person elimination defense at Summer Smash, and continued facing Sher Khan, Prince Ahmed, Noom and Nawab in subsequent world-title contests. His REW story is defined by the tension between champion, faction leader, rival and unpredictable betrayer.
